Goal

...support the European Commission in bridging the gap between research and businesses, and enable the uptake of Copernicus data by building new skills.

Objective

...foster the development of interdisciplinary courses and online education, implement skills by boosting programmes for vocational training and organise industry-university traineeships.

COPINE is dedicated to expanding the network of Copernicus to educators, particularly university students. We achieve this by conducting a wide range of workshops, seminars, and training classes that focus on the utilization of remotely sensed products, particularly those derived from Copernicus satellite missions. Our ultimate goal is to empower and strengthen the adoption of this cutting-edge technology not only in Nigeria but throughout Africa. With a team of highly skilled and experienced scientists, we are fully equipped to deliver the necessary knowledge and skills to individuals in Nigeria and beyond. Our scientists possess a wealth of expertise in their respective fields, enabling us to provide comprehensive training and support. By sharing our knowledge and leveraging our collective experience, we aim to facilitate the successful integration of Copernicus technologies, fostering their advancement and widespread usage in Nigeria and across the African continent.
